How do I become a groomer for EsyPet?

An initial zoom call is all it takes to get the process started. From there, we will review your portfolio, credentials, Background check, References, and an in person or Zoom Call Groom Interview.

Do EsyPet Groomers need to use their own equipment?

Yes, it is required that you own and maintain your own grooming tools ( Clipper, scissors, brushes, combs, blades, nail clipper, cool lube, quick stop etc.) Anything needed to get the groom completed. The shop provides the tub, table, dryers and shampoo.

Do groomers get paid from the Shop Owner or from EsyPet?

EsyPet handles all invoicing of the grooms and all payroll to the groomer?

Can I make my own schedule as an EsyPet Groomer?

Absolutely! You can. Submit your schedule, and make necessary changes as needed. You are in charge of your availability.

What is the pay as an EsyPet Groomer?

Groomers are paid 55% commission for all new clients, and 60% commission for repeat customers that pick you to perform the groom and customers that you bring to the shop. Commission is based on the price of the groom and all add on services that you perform.

Can I use the staff bather in the shop to wash my dogs?

EsyPet groomers are paid at a rate of 55% – 60%, and are expected to wash, dry and groom the pets on your schedule. If there are pets that you prefer to have the bather wash and dry, 10% of that pets commission will be designated for bather pay.
